MCS Shipping FAQ's
What if I don't know the weight of my inbound shipment?
Just add your best estimate of the freight that will be shipping. MCS reweighs all the freight that is sent into our advance warehouse and will adjust the weight on your account prior to charging you.
Do I need to add anything to my boxes prior to shipping?
We ask that you add the MCS Advance Shipping Label which is located on the left-hand menu to each piece of freight before shipping this out. We ask this so that we can ensure that every piece is able to be manifested and sorted prior to the show.
What do I need to have for my outbound shipments?
We ask that you have your Material Handling Agreement (located on the left-hand menu) filled out and provided to the MCS team. You will also need to go to the MCS Service Desk on the show site to receive pink RTW stickers from our staff. These stickers indicate that your shipment is ready to be taken back to our warehouse and that you have all the necessary paperwork completed for us to release your freight to your designated carrier.
What is RTW?
RTW stands for Return to Warehouse. This is the service MCS provides by taking your freight from the show site back to our advance warehouse in order for your carrier to pick up your freight to be delivered to its next destination.
When can my carrier pick up my outbound shipment from your advance warehouse?
Your carrier can pick up your freight the next business day after 11am from our advance warehouse.
